I spent about 25 years building and running restaurants in Evansville. I started Spudz n Stuffs with $10,000 and a lot of ambition and grew it to 13 locations. Later I built and sold Cobblestone Creamery, an ice cream shop, where I wrote the point-of-sale system that ran it.

Before any of that I was a Marine. After it, I spent three years as a volunteer mentor and VP with SCORE, the SBA-affiliated nonprofit that advises small-business owners. Most of the owners I sat across from had the same problem: a website somebody built once, that nobody had looked at since, quietly sending guests to the place down the street.

Why this tool exists

The free SEO checkers out there were built for marketers. They’ll tell a restaurant owner their “H2 hierarchy” is off and say nothing about the menu being a PDF, the hours being a photo, or the Google listing having the wrong phone number. Those are the things that cost a restaurant covers.

So Search to Table checks what matters to a restaurant, explains it the way you’d explain it to another owner, and hands you the code to fix it. If you’d rather someone just fix it for you, that’s what Cobblestone Restaurant Solutions does.
